About Dr. Tamara Fischl

I am an Australian-born medical doctor specializing in neuropsychiatry, with over two decades of experience diagnosing and treating individuals with complex neurological disorders. My expertise focuses on the neuropsychiatry of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and other conditions that affect both brain and mind. Currently, I serve as the Head of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Shamir Hospital, Israel, and run a private clinic at the Israel Stroke Center.

My approach combines medical expertise with a deep understanding of each patient’s lived experience. I look beyond symptoms to consider how neurological conditions impact daily life, relationships, and identity—helping my patients navigate their journey with clarity and support.
